Varsity Head Coach

Jake will be going into his fourth season as being part of the Franklin Panthers. Spending two years as an assistant coach and one year co coaching with Chris Spillane, this will mark the first season as head coach.

A native of Annville, Pennsylvania, Brightbill played Division 1 college hockey at Sacred Heart University where he was a team captain for his senior year. Prior to playing in college, Jake played for the Walpole Express in the AJHL from 2009-2012. His teams qualified for nationals 2 out of the 3 seasons and he was named team captain in his final year.

After playing, Jake got right into coaching for the Walpole Express from 2017-2023, ranging from squirts to U18. Recently, he has started coaching for the Neponset Valley River Rats for the fall seasons.
